Tomi Kolapo 8I This was a great book especially since it would probably never happen in real life ( those are the best books)Dee the main character has some strange powers! she sees ghost! and can talk to them and other weird thing as well. This was your typical who dunnit mystery and who would have know it was the doctor raping girls than killing them on the mountain. Except for Dee's mom who just escaped and was found by Dee's grandmother but sadly her mother has gone crazy because of the abuse she received and her grandmother put her in a insane asylum and told everyone she had gone to sing in a traveling show! the saddest part was when i found out my fav character was actually dead the whole time (he was a ghodt) and he and Dee coudnt be together :(

F7H This book spooked me, ;) it caught me by suprise when I found out the was actually murdering and raping the girls, I almost cried when Dee's best friend had been found a victim!! :( I luv how Clarence is always "appearing out of nowhere", I as soo sad when I found out that they couldn't be together :( I rate this book an 8.9 out of 10.
Natasha Hianes 8A i would rate this book a 9/10. i loved how it kept you guessing and you had to keep changing who you thought was behind the murders every couple chapters. in this book dee is living with her gran because nobody knows who her dad is and her mom is singing in a road show. only later does Defiance "dee" find out how wrong that is. many girls are going missing. when her old friend was found under a tree and her current friend clooey also got taken and killed dee decides to get involved. then when podge is put in jail because vivien thinks hes behind it, dee needs to be quick about finding out who the killer is. while searching for clooey with clarence, dee finds where clooey was buried and had to lie in the grave to find out who killed her. it turns out that dr.hughes is the killer and her father. when her mother was young she he got her pregnant and she ended up in a metal asylum from the abuse she endured that day. gran just told dee that so she wouldnt be so hurt. as it turns out dee and clarence cant be together because dr.hughes killed him as well.
Kiara Julien F81 This was one of those books that I kept going on about how everything was so creepy and odd! But I just HAD to find put what happens! Dee seing ghosts, a new doctor in town, like OMG! And when it all came together...I didn't expect it! It was a pretty decent book. 8/10
Emily Sa. King George F7F I found this book very interesting with all the murders and mysteries. Recently I have read on people who can see the dead or necromancers and it is really interesting. This book is about this necromancer Dee that can sense peoples deaths. Dee lives with her grandmother who is known as a docter with psychic powers to determine the sick or pregnant and to come to their aid. Her grandmother has to take care of her after her mother 'ran away with a show'. The famous hill in her backyard gives this girl something to do but when the disappearences of girls in her rural community and the found out about the rapes/deaths of her friends she is forced to believe that this horrible person was part of her community and later to find out that this murderer was her father. Read more to find out more. I liked this book because it was scary and suprising with all the deaths, sights, and discouveries. With its fast pace I couldn't put this book down hoping everything in the end will turn out with justice. Although scary I think this a good book and I rate it 7/10.
