This was the creepiest book ive ever read. i dont know if that was the author's intention but thats how i portrayed it. Nieve the main character must save her town from going all black. Spiders and weird plants that ooze black liquid, Nelly long arms, and other creatures at that started poping out all over the city. ( the pictures were so creepy) Nieve defeats the darkness and the source behind it by using these awsome shoes that look like there made of leaves that help her go really fast and i tiny source of light. She discovers a long lost cousin who has only 8 toes... this book was jammed pack with twist and turns and creepy stuff and its heard to explain it all all i can say is dont read this when its dark!

This book was creepy. It was a good creepy though, something that you are scared but you want to keeo reading anyway. I couldnt put thi sbook down, i love how there is a new twist on every page. you can never et tired of it. Nieve the main character must face many challenges. With the help of her long lost cousin, magical shoes, and a patch of light, Nieve conquers everything that crepped up into her world from the Black City. THis book is a 9/10.

I found this book at the beginning hard to get through. With Nieve as the main character and how the world goes forever into the night which is kinda creepy. The beginning was hard to get through because the plot took longer to explain itself. But at the climax and anti-climax were she goes to the place of the dead and returns with the light was very entertaining and made this book somewhat worthwhile. I rate this book 6/10.

i found the book kinda boring at the beggining than it just got kinda creepy. i liked how the author put some pictures in because it helped you picture the stroy better but overall it was strang and kinda creepy but something made it harder to put down. i rated this book 6/10

I would rate this book 9/10. I found this book attention holding and sureal. I liked the wierd medical feel. The book was all about clues and once you found one you could start putting the mystery together. This book is differnt from any other book I have ever read. I loved having the opportunity to read a book like this.
