Natasha 8A In this book Sam Mclean and his family move to a new town, quiet adn dead-seeming. here sam is desperate to get in wiht the cool kids. sam reluctantly joins cody barns (maniac) and his side-kick javon on their ghost riding stunt that maniac will post on his blog along with all his other dangerous stunts. so at midnight one night cody javon and sam climb onto the top of the moving vehicle that isnt being controlled by anyone. sam falls out the window and hits his head. he briefly gets knowcked out and has a dream that he is somebody else doing almost teh same thing except on a bike that ends up killing a woman and her son. he is shaken up by cody and notices that javon isnt with him. when he loks around he sees the car over javon in a ditch, sam knows what that means. as he goes to check on him cody gets mad and says he has already done that and that they should just leave before the cops show up. so reluctantly sam does, he feels incredibly guilty for it. when school comes around nobody says anything abut javon, there isnt anythig in the news either. sam doesnt know whats going on. in the end he finds out it was just one of codys stunts. my favourite part is when the mystery is solved at the end of the boook.
Tomi Kolapo 8I This book was okay, i didnt find the plot really intersting it was quite predictable. It was mainly about Sam Mclean and his family moving to a very creepy town where his father grew up.He starts hanging out with "mainac" and hes buddies who care only about there stupid stunt blog! They only become friends with Sam to use for one of their vedios to post on their blog that was pretty much the plot except for some wierd stuff like Walter who we find out at the end of the book is dead by the crazy old lady( i was really confused by how the whole family saw Walter and hes mom) and than hes teacher is a witch who is moving into Walter's old house...
Emily Sa. F7F King George This book is about a kid named Sam Mclean moved to a place outside of Toronto where his father lived while growing up. His neighbour Walter Moon is a strange person who dresses in old clothes. He becomes friends with Cody Barns who is a daredevil ready to try anything. Sam witnesses a crash and learns about his father's crash many years before. He discovers that this little town is alot more than he suspected. I thought this book was somewhat scary with all the deaths and weird things. The book starts off well but then it gets weirder and weirder. Overall, I rate it 6/10. A book that did not stand out for how good is was but for its weirdness.
I really injoyed reading this book. At the begining a boy named Sam Mclean and his familly move to a small old town whare not much happens, at school sam finds himself with two daredevils cody and javon who trick Sam to believe that javon dies in a stunt that they did and that some unknown person found out but it ended up being cody and javon pulling a prank. At the end Sam's dad decides to return back to there old home after realizing this new city wasn't working out.
I think ghost ride was amazing! Every time I put the book down, it always left me wanting more more more! The book is about a young boy named Sam ( just like me ) and he moved to the butt of the earth sleepy hallow! But he doesn't relize the his father Mr.Perfect is hiding a dark secret! While Sam is struggling through school and falling In cahoots with some idiot school bullies his father has become very ill! Sam misses his friend Mike so he calls and vents to him and Mike eventually came out to sleepy hallow but he hadn't remixes Sam was going to the stunt scene of the idiots! Well I should stop myself here I don't want to say to much all I know is I would recommend this book to any one at school! Samantha Marett Homeroom 7a! Madelle Hipfner
abby 7H ghost ride was an interesting book of an somewhat extreme version of what could happen in the real world. In this book Sam Mcleanand his family move to a small road in"the middle of no-where"(according to sam) in a little town outside toronto. Sam becomes friends with these guys who do all these stunts for there blog, so of course, they are the "cool" kids. but one night Sam's friend mike from his old town, comes and visits when is supposed to do a stunt with is so called friends. Mike bails and so sam goes with cody and his friend javon to go ghost ridding, where they get on the roof of the moving car and dance. but it all goes wrong and javon supposedly dies, but there is no news about it anywhere so Sam is confused and doesn't know what to think.I wilkl not tell the end so if you want ot know how it works out in the end, read the book! i rate this book a 7 out of 10.
I thought that this book was a very good read. All that sam wants is to fit in with the cool and popular kids. The part where he falls out of the window was very well written. When he gets knocked out and has that dream I found it a bit confusing because i kept on thinking that it was happening to him. I loved the part when the mystery was solved, it was my favourite part. I really enjoyed reading this book. I am going to look up the author to see if there are any other books. I would rate it a 8/10
Kiara Julien F81 This book was probably had my least favorite ending. The beginning and middle was great, knowing what Sam thought about the situation and the major accident that occured. But when the end came around, I was turned off and thought it was actually kind of silly. It was not my favorite. 5/10
